CHOCOLATE BANANA COOKIE BARS

A cookie bar recipe is always a sweet idea, no matter the season – it’ll be love at first bite! We’ve created this Chocolate Banana Cookie Bar recipe that combines M&M’s with Crunchies Freeze-Dried Bananas in Milk Chocolate, creating a combination that is both sweet and crunchy. These bars are simple to make, and the combination of flavors will leave your taste buds craving more. 

This recipe can be easily customized to add your favorite mix-ins. Try mixing in pretzels, macadamia nuts or white chocolate morsels. No matter the combination, we just know they’ll taste delish!

TOTAL TIME: 1 Hour

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour 
  •  1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 1/2 tsp cornstarch
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, room temp
  •  1 cup light brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 eggs, room temp
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 3/4 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 cup M&M’s
  •  1/3 cup sprinkles
  •  1/2 cup Crunchies Freeze-Dried Banana in Milk Chocolate

DIRECTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F & line a 9×13 pan.
  2. Whisk flour, baking soda, cornstarch & salt in a bowl.
  3. Beat butter & sugars until fluffy. Mix in eggs & vanilla.
  4. Slowly fold in dry ingredients.
  5. Add chocolate chips, M&M’s, sprinkles & Crunchies.
  6. Press dough into the pan, top with extra M&M’s, & bake 25-30 mins.
  7. Cool for 1 hour, slice & enjoy!
