Strawberry Rice Krispie Treats are such a fun and tasty twist to a classic recipe we’ve known since childhood. These goey marshmallow treats are the perfect tasty treat that adults and kids alike will love.  

While the classic rice krispie treat recipe requires 3 ingredients, we’re adding one very special ingredient – Crunchies Freeze-Dried Strawberries! If you’d like to substitute the strawberries, we suggest trying Crunchies Freeze-Dried Blueberries. That might just have to be our next recipe! This recipe is incredibly easy to make and can be ready to eat in 30 minutes or less!

TOTAL TIME: 15 minutes


  • 7 Cups of Rice Krispies Cereal 
  • 6 Tbsp of Salted Butter 
  • 16 oz Package of Marshmallow 
  • 1 Package of Crunchies Freeze-Dried Strawberries 


  1. Grease a 9×13 pan and set aside.  
  2. Add Rice Krispies to a medium sized mixing bowl. Set aside. 
  3. Add butter to a saucepan and begin melting on medium high heat.  
  4. Once butter is melted, slowly add in marshmallow.  
  5. Melt marshmallow over heat until 75% melted, stirring often.  
  6. Remove melted mixture from heat and add to Rice Krispies.  
  7. Add Crunchies Freeze-Dried Strawberries.  
  8. Stir until well combined and coated.  
  9. Add to 9×13 pan and gently press into an even layer.  
  10. Allow to cool for 30 minutes before serving.
