Crunchies Goes Looney Tunes With Debut Of New Organic Little Crunchies Line

Westlake Village, CA, March 7, 2014 — In a deal that’s sure to animate the kids’ health food industry, Crunchies Food Company – the nation’s leading producer of all-natural freeze-dried fruits and vegetables – has joined with Warner Bros. Consumer Products to create a new line of better-for-you snacks that’s fun for all ages: Organic Little Crunchies®. The company decided in 2013 that every piece of freeze-dried fruit of their kids’ line, perfectly sized for little hands and mouths, had to be USDA-certified organic, as a result of discussions with two very important audiences: moms and natural foods retailers.

Scheduled to be on shelves at retailers nationwide this spring, the new USDA-certified Organic Little Crunchies line features four kid-friendly freeze-dried fruit flavors - Strawberries, Strawberries & Bananas, Apples & Bananas, and Strawberries & Mangoes – each featuring a favorite Looney Tunes character, including Bugs Bunny, Tweety, Daffy Duck and Taz. Each package is kid-sized too, with the re-sealable 1 oz. Grab-n-Go bags being ideal for car rides, family outings and afternoon snacks; lunchbox-sized .33 oz. Munch Paks will be available in a 5-Pak variety box. Organic Little Crunchies are expected to be on retailer shelves nationwide beginning in late April.
